What information do we collect?
We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal but anonymous information:
In order to use TotalCloud effectively, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as email address). This information is used to contact you about further upgrades to our products/services in which you have expressed interest.
We take various precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the software, your information is protected. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as a secret key), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. All communication from TotalCloud client and servers are over encrypted channels (TLS/SSL) and follows industry best practices and is kept upto date with latest security guidelines.
TotalCloud implements AWS best practices while accessing your account. Cross-Account Access is the preferred route but we also provide the option to use access keys. None of your AWS data is stored on the server and is only fetched on demand. All your data are permanently deleted from our servers if you delete your TotalCloud account. In such a situation, your AWS data will not be affected.
All credentials and password are uniquely salted and strong hashed and cannot be retrieved by anyone including TotalCloud staff.
TotalCloud uses “cookies”. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a user’s hard drive to help us improve user experience. Cookies can enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the user experience of TotalCloud. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on TotalCloud.
